The Wailing Wall

Talking to the wall
as I engage in deep conversation
with the indifferent chipped paint
about the fragile nature of life
and the tyranny of time..

Spilling my tormented soul
which serves as much need therapy
in the classic venting sense..

Of course the stationary structure
cares not a bit about my troubles
which mirrors the stone cold apathy
the rest of humanity feels for me
and my woeful self pity philosophy

Who is humanity? I believe that there are many people who care. But the uncaring does more damage than caring can heal.
